Full screen in mediacentral10/22/2023 Using media queries, designers can respond to these different form factors. The clearest example of this is the form factor of a user's device its width, the device aspect ratio, and so on. This time it was displaying at 1680x1050 again (screen being filled) I exited BBCF and deleted the 1680x1050 in CRU once again, loaded up BBCF again and my monitor resolution is 1080p, but the image is squished and outputting an internal resolution of 1680x1050 again.Designers can adjust their designs to accommodate users. I deleted 1600x1200 in CRU and loaded up BBCF again at 1440p still. ![]() I decided to set the in-game resolution to 1440p (kind of odd that 1440p and 4k are listed with VSR disabled) and that caused my resolution to get set to 1600x1200 this time. When I delete the 1680x1050 resolution in CRU and boot up BBCF once again the image is now squished (black bars on the sides) but my monitor is outputting the source as 1920x1080, the internal resolution is still being rendered at 1680x1050.ĮDIT: More testing, I had reset my settings in CRU back to default. Without touching anything in CRU yet and just loading up BBCF with the resolution set to 1080p my monitor's resolution is being set to 1680x1050 and the image fills the screen. I did some testing with CRU, and for the sake of simplicity I disabled AMD's VSR which means my in-game resolution is being set to 1680x1050 instead of the 1920x1200 that I get with VSR enabled. Shini, if you read me, try to give the suggestion a go and see what could have gone wrong :P If you have the issue and are certain of the resolution setting, you might try using the utlity above. Why, I don't know (but seeing DSR is not really working I guess the way fullscreen works on this game is different than in others). So it seems to be the game is trying to reach out for the EDID info and then is using a wrong resolution based on that. Now that 1600x1200 is not appearing as selectable at all and fullscreen is 1920x1080 again! ![]() I just deleted it, restarted (it requires a restart) and VOILÀ! Issue gone. Upon opening it, I the middle box showed the wrong resolution (1600x1200). So I took a look around at how to fix this stuff and came across this program, Custom Resolution Utility: Apparently the 1600x1200 resolution was being reported by my monitor as available but the pixel count and all was wrong (it shouldn't be there in first place) - a quick Google search lead me to a few topics on the matter. Solved it on my end! I had to use a program which changes EDID settings. Indeed, checked on my own and it shows the same resolutions with VSR on and off. Monitor: ASUS VE228H to show resolution difference with VSR on and off.Īs you can see the images are 1920x12x1050. ![]() With VSR enabled my game is outputting to 1920x1200 when it's set to 1920x1080 in-game with fullscreen enabled, and with VSR disabled it's outputting to 1680x1050. ![]() Enabling and disabling it changes the resolution within BBCF for me, no other game has done this in my experience.
